Introduction

Fasting App is a fasting timer, tracking, and general wellness education app provided by ZeroOne Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app, how it is stored, and the choices available to you.

We design Fasting App to work without an account and without advertising. We do not operate our own server to store your personal fasting records, weight records, notes, or reminder preferences. When iCloud sync is enabled, those records may be stored in your private Apple iCloud account through Apple CloudKit.

1. Information Processed by the App

Depending on the features you use, Fasting App may process the following information:

• Fasting records: start time, end time, selected fasting plan, planned duration, completion status, history, and related statistics.
• Fasting plans and preferences: selected plan, custom plans, theme, unit preference, first weekday, and whether educational fasting stages are shown.
• Optional wellness entries: weight entries, notes, mood, hunger level, and similar information that you choose to enter.
• Reminder preferences: reminder types, times, offsets, and enabled status. System notification permission is controlled by iOS on each device.
• Purchase status: App Store subscription or lifetime purchase status used to unlock Pro features. We do not receive your payment card information.
• Diagnostics and analytics: app events, screen views, purchase flow events, crash logs, device/app version information, and similar diagnostic information may be processed through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics where enabled. We do not use this information for advertising tracking.

2. Local Storage and iCloud Sync

• Local storage: your fasting records, weight records, notes, settings, and reminder preferences are stored on your device using Apple system storage technologies.
• Private iCloud sync: when iCloud sync is enabled or available, app data may sync through Apple CloudKit to your private iCloud database associated with your Apple ID. This helps keep your data available across your own devices.
• No ZeroOne account server: we do not run a separate account system or self-operated database for your personal fasting records, weight records, notes, or reminder preferences.
• iCloud controls: you may manage iCloud sync in the app settings where available and in iOS iCloud settings. If iCloud is unavailable or disabled, data remains on the device unless you delete it.

3. How We Use Information

We use information processed by the app for the following purposes:

• To provide fasting timers, plans, history, statistics, reminders, widgets, Live Activities, and related app features;
• To save your preferences and restore your app state across launches and, when enabled, across your own devices through iCloud;
• To verify purchases and manage access to Pro features;
• To improve app reliability, diagnose crashes, and understand general feature usage;
• To provide customer support when you contact us.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your fasting records, weight entries, notes, or reminder preferences with advertisers.

Information may be processed by the following service providers only as needed for app functionality:

• Apple: App Store purchases, StoreKit purchase verification, iCloud, CloudKit, notifications, widgets, and related Apple platform services.
• Firebase: analytics and crash diagnostics where enabled, used to understand app reliability and improve the product.

We may also disclose information if required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.

5. Health and Wellness Information

Fasting App is intended for fasting tracking and general wellness education. Information such as fasting records, weight entries, hunger level, mood, and notes may be sensitive. You should only enter information that you are comfortable storing on your device and, if enabled, syncing through your private iCloud account.

We do not use your fasting records, weight entries, notes, mood, hunger level, or other wellness information for advertising, marketing, or profiling. We also do not sell this information.

Fasting App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, have a history of eating disorders, or are unsure whether fasting is appropriate for you, consult a qualified medical professional before fasting.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• You can view, edit, and delete records inside the app where those features are provided.
• You can delete app data from your device, and deletion may sync to your other devices when iCloud sync is enabled.
• You can manage iCloud sync in app settings where available and in iOS settings.
• You can manage notification permission in iOS settings.
• You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

7. Data Retention

Your app records remain on your device and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account until you delete them, delete the app data, or disable/remove the relevant iCloud data. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained by service providers according to their applicable retention policies.

8. Children

Fasting App is not intended for children under 13. Fasting may be inappropriate for minors. Users under 18 should use fasting-related features only with guidance from a parent, guardian, and qualified medical professional.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or on our website. Continued use of the app after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
